Israel's largest port and industrial city, located on the slopes of Mount Carmel, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Haifa's outline is dotted with Churches, Mosques and Synagogues and it enjoys a peaceful coexistence between the Jewish,
Christian, Muslim, Druze and Baha'i communities. The landmark of Haifa is the beautiful Baha'i Temple surrounded by the
magnificent Persian gardens built of 19 terraces with fountains and promenades that have been worldly acknowledged as
the "eight wonder of the world".
Set out along the route that Jesus may have walked during his ministry beginning with a visit to Nazareth and St. Mary’s Well. Then we’re off to the Sea of Galilee, where much of the ministry of Jesus occurred. First is Tabagha, the site of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves & fishes. Next is Capernaum, the home of many of the apostles. We will also visit the Mount of Beatitudes, which is the famous hill where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Gaze in awe at the Bahai Temple and its breathtaking gardens, which sprawl from the top of Mt. Carmel into its foothills.
